I am a regional artist. My work ranges from still life to portraits, roosters, and landscapes. Most of my work is influenced by the Midwest since I’ve lived in this part of the country almost all of my life. I also find inspiration from my travels.

My flowers are almost exclusively from my own garden, I’ve painted roosters from the Poultry Barn at the State Fair, and the landscapes honor the gentle slopes of typical Minnesota farmland and sometimes the buildings found there. I treasure the subtle beauty of the Midwest  and find myself drawn to explore it in my work.
