Whether I'm drawing, painting, sewing a scary doll or creating jewelry out of feathers and rhinestone jewelry bits, my vision is merciless.
Art is an outlet for me because drawing and painting is the the safe place where I can be hurtful and cruel without feeling guilty. Because of this, my illustrative characters and themes usually carry a dark malign mood. I use sugary pastel colors to mask the suspicious characters twisted thoughts.
In other drawings, femininity mischievously quarrels
with harsh scratchy line quality when outlining innocent
animal friends. My art is an ongoing battle between sinister and sweet.
